Each Compass comes with advanced safety equipment, such as active lane management, drowsy driver detection, a ParkView rear backup camera, full-speed forward-collision warning, all-speed traction control, blind-spot warning, and cross-path detection.
The base Sport trim has a 10.1-inch touchscreen powered by Uconnect 5 infotainment software. It has an AM/FM radio, hands-free calling, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
The Sport trim also includes low-back cloth bucket seats and heated mirrors. There are also LED reflector headlamps, power windows, and door locks.
There are even more features on the Altitude trim, which incorporates premium cloth and vinyl bucket seats, a gloss black exterior trim, the Jeep clean-air system, a premium leather and metal-look steering wheel, and Light Tungsten interior accent stitching.
The luxury-minded Limited has such creature comforts as leather-trimmed and heated seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, and a heated steering wheel. The Limited also includes a windshield wiper de-icer, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a black-painted roof.
The 2023 Jeep Compass is not only sold in various trim levels, but it also comes in a variety of colors. You can select from various exterior colors, including Diamond Black Crystal, Redline, Laser Blue, and Sting-Gray.
As previously noted, the 2023 Jeep Compass comes standard with all-wheel-drive. This translates to a sure-footed drive on all road surfaces and off-road terrains. Nestled under the hood of the Compass is a highly capable 2.0-liter direct injection turbo engine with four inline cylinders and Stop/Start technology, which improves fuel efficiency.
This engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and will rev up to a robust 200 horsepower and 221 lb.-ft of torque. Also standard on the Compass is the Jeep-exclusive Selec-Terrain system.
